Welcome to tankfoundation.com! My name is Ed Zabala. Like the website name implies, I specialize in foundation design of tanks. While I practice in many areas of structural and civil engineering, I truly enjoy designing tank foundations. I do all my work through my main engineering company, "EZE Group, LLC".

Consultation
There are many different tank to foundation configurations. Couple that with the height of the stored liquid in the tank, soil conditions, and other site limitations, there is not a one size fits all solution.
What you will need is a consultation with us. We will ask you pertinent questions about your project. We have a little process that we do to get you from the unknown state to getting an idea on what your foundation will look like.
Design
Most of time, tanks can be supported by shallow foundations like ringwalls. However, if conditions require it, you may need a deep foundation system like a mat supported by piles. We can support you either way.
Allow us to do the schematic and design development phases with you. Once you're satisfied, we can provide with construction documents for your foundation..
